Chelsea came back from behind to secure a 2-2 draw with Tottenham which ended their London rivals title bid.
The Blues fell behind early with Harry Kane scoring his 25th goal of the season for Spurs.
Their lead was doubled just before the break after Branislav Ivanovic’s misplaced pass led to Heung-ming Son slotting past Asmir Begovic.
But Chelsea came out in the second half with renewed spirit and the introduction of Eden Hazard made Chelsea look a genuine threat.
Gary Cahill pulled his side back into the game as he found space on a corner and lashed the ball into the back of the net.
But it was Hazard who stepped up to end Tottenham’s faint hopes with a stunning finish to draw the sides level.
While the game ended a draw, Guus Hiddink’s side showed character to come back from two goals behind and the second half was a glimpse of how well Chelsea can play when motivated.
