Chelsea interim manager, Guus Hiddink announced on Dutch TV that he would be staying on at Stamford Bridge in an advisory role last week.
Hiddink will remain at Chelsea to help and guide young academy players into the first-team squad, something that the club have struggled with in recent years.
During his time at Stamford Bridge, despite having little to play for, Hiddink was very reluctant to give regular and consistent game time to youth players.
Bertrand Traore saw his game time increase as he became the club’s second choice striker behind Diego Costa. Whilst Tammy Abraham, Jake Clarke-Salter, Matt Miazga and Fikayo Tomori were all handed their debuts in the second half of the season.
So, we want to hear from Chelsea fans, is this the right move for both the club and Hiddink? Will it really have any affect on the way that Antonio Conte chooses his squad next year?
