Chelsea’s new manager Antonio Conte wants to rebuild his side’s midfield by bringing in N’Golo Kante, according to a report from Darren Lewis of The Mirror.
According to Lewis, the Italian is looking to sign the Leicester City star to pair him with Roma’s Radja Nainggolan as he looks to get Chelsea challenging at the top of the table once again after their poor 2015/16 campaign.
Kante took the league by storm and was a major contributor in Leicester’s title win. His form has also seen him be called into the French national squad for Euro 2016.

Furthermore, Lewis says that the Blues are willing to treble Kante’s £35,000-a-week wages, something that could persuade him to leave the Foxes despite the fondness he seemingly has for both the club and manager Claudio Ranieri.
The 25-year-old has a £20million release clause in his contract, so that’s the fee Chelsea will have to pay if they do decide they want to bring Kante in.
