According to James Benge of the Evening Standard, Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly is prepared for talks with new Chelsea boss Antonio Conte, as the centre-back prepares to leave life in the Serie A.
The wishlist for centre-backs at Stamford Bridge in starting to grow. In there at the moment includes Everton’s John Stones, Leonardo Bonucci from Juventus and also Napoli’s Koulibaly.
It was reported that the West London side were also interested in Roma’s Antonio Rudiger, but the defender has suffered a severe knee injury that could rule him out for the whole of next season.

24-year-old Koulibaly, who has three years remaining on his current deal in Naples, received much praise throughout last season for his consistent progression.
I’ll make a choice that is most favourable to me, not only financially but also on pitch.
The defender had hoped that last season’s efforts would earn him a new deal at the Stadio San Paolo, but with nothing being received, the Senegal international is preparing to depart.
