Both Chelsea and Liverpool have entered the race to sign Newcastle United midfielder Moussa Sissoko who wants an exit from the newly-relegated side, according to David Wright of the Express.
The French international made it clear in an interview that his intentions are to depart from the Geordie club, and said how flattered he was with the reports linking him to Arsenal.
It is very flattering. Arsenal is one of the best European teams. To be watched by that sort of club, that proves that you are a quality player. It is good to know. I hope that I will have the chance, soon, to play for this club or for a similar club.

However, with interest from the Blues and Liverpool now growing, Sissoko could potentially have a huge decision to make before the start of next season.
Frenchman Sissoko is currently away with his international team-mates on Euro’s duty in their home country, who have won both their first two games in the tournament against Romania and Albania respectively.
In an attempt to keep Sissoko at the club, Newcastle boss Rafael Benitez is keen to hold talks with the midfielder, and potentially offer him a new deal.
