New Chelsea head coach, Antonio Conte addressed the media for the first time on Thursday afternoon following his official unveiling at Stamford Bridge.
There were burning questions that Chelsea fans would have been hoping to get answers for with the pre-season game looming ever closer after the players returned to training this week.
The Italian refused to answer questions on transfers but did reveal that John Terry would remain as the club’s captain. Conte was full of praise for the defender and admitted he wanted him to stay. He revealed that he and Terry were both very happy when he signed a new contract extension.
