Chelsea are reportedly closing in on a deal to bring Belgium striker Romelu Lukaku back to Stamford Bridge in a club record transfer after growing confident of landing the Everton forward.
Chelsea saw a £57m offer rejected this week, two years after the Blues let the Belgium forward leave the club in a £28million deal to join Goodison Park.
However, Evening Standard have reported that Chelsea are ready to launch a new fresh bid of £68million to land the Belgium forward and are confident that they can talk Everton down from their £75million valuation.
Chelsea boss Antonio Conte remains determined to add to his strike force, and Lukaku has emerged as their top priority ahead of the new season.

The Belgium international failed to make an impact at Stamford Bridge and was sent out on loan West Brom and Everton respectively in the hope of playing first team football.
The striker has since managed to net 45 goals after securing a permanent move to Goodison Park in 2014 and Chelsea want him back to create a strike partnership with Spanish forward Diego Costa.
