Chelsea academy graduate Tammy Abraham impressed during his first week at Bristol City, scoring four goals in his opening three games.
Abraham made his debut the day after signing for The Robins on a season-long loan and soon found himself on the scoresheet after coming off the bench to score the winner against ex-Premier League side Wigan Athletic.
The London-born striker made his full debut for Bristol City in the EFL Cup first round against League Two side Wycombe Wanderers, scoring in the 27th minute with a low finish past on-loan Wanderers keeper Cameron Dawson.
Saturday saw Abraham make his second start for his new club, scoring a brace. His first came in the 44th minute, seconds before the half-time whistle. Similarly, his second was scored in the 95th minute, again just before the final whistle, showing his already prominent ability to score when it really matters being applied in the professional game.
The ability to perform when it really matters is no stranger to Abraham, with the 18-year-old netting goals in the FA Youth Cup final and scoring eight in the UEFA Youth League last season for Chelsea’s academy sides.

In an interview with the Bristol Post, City’s record signing Lee Tomlin suggested that Abraham is not like other Chelsea players and that he is eager to improve his ability:
Tammy’s a bright and clever player and the thing I really like about him is he’s willing to listen and learn. He’s always asking questions and he wants to know how things work.
That is not always the case with players from Chelsea. No matter how young they are, they can think they are better than anyone else. Tammy is not like that.
After just two games, Abraham sits atop the Championship top scorers table, joint with Ipswich’s Grant Ward. Scoring on average a goal every 38 minutes, he is showing excellent form and proving many doubters about the ability of Chelsea’s youngsters wrong.
