According to a report from The Guardian, Burnley have agreed a deal to sign young Chelsea forward Patrick Bamford on loan.
The Clarets are looking to bolster their striking options with the Premier League season well underway and Bamford could be the first of many late signings of the summer transfer window for Sean Dyche’s side.
Bamford spent last season on loan at Norwich City, who got relegated to the Championship, but found first-team chances and consistent form considerably hard to come by.

Prior to this, Bamford had a decent spell in the Championship with Middlesbrough as he proved that he could score goals in a team hunting promotion, but it just hasn’t worked out in the top flight as of yet as he showed in his unsuccessful spell at Crystal Palace.
Bamford is clearly not going to get game time at Chelsea and will look to take advantage of the spell at Burnley.
