Chelsea travel to Hull this weekend in need of a dramatic improvement in form following the last two league performances against Liverpool and Arsenal respectively.
The Blues sit eighth position in the Premier League following a 2-1 loss to Jurgen Klopp’s men and a 3-0 drumming against Arsene Wenger’s Gunners, and travel to the KC Stadium to face a Hull side who have picked up just one point from their last four league outings.
Had this fixture been scheduled after Chelsea’s 3-0 win over Burnley, the result may have been a foregone conclusion prior to kick-off.
However, Antonio Conte’s men have suffered a major blow in confidence since then following the losses to both top-four rivals, with many questioning how the Chelsea boss will go about rebuilding the morale within the squad.
Will he revert to a 3-5-2 in an attempt to solve Chelsea’s defensive troubles this season? Or will he stick it out with four at the back until Roman Abramovich allows him to splash the cash on defensive reinforcements?
We’ve attempted to answer those questions for you. Let us know what you think of our predicted XI.
