Chelsea are looking to introduce a safe standing area in the rebuilt Stamford Bridge, according to the Daily Mail.
The report suggests that the Blues will consider the safe standing zone should government laws regarding standing areas at football stadiums change.
Chelsea have submitted planning proposals to rebuild Stamford Bridge in a project that would cost £500million and increase the capacity of the stadium from 41,000 to 60,000.

Standing areas in football stadiums are not permitted in the top two tiers of English football following the Taylor Report into the Hillsborough disaster, which saw 96 Liverpool fans unlawfully lose their lives 27 years ago.
However, 93 percent, of the Liverpool supporters group Spirit of Shankly voted in favour of introducing rail seating into stadiums, which would allow fans to sit down or stand up at their desire.
Chelsea supporters groups have raised the issue of including a safe standing area at the rebuilt Stamford Bridge, and whilst the club are open to the idea, they will not campaign for a change, as The Department for Culture, Media and Sport are looking into the situation.
Manchester United are also said to be interested in the idea after visiting Celtic’s safe standing area with a capacity of 2,975.
