Chelsea’s highly-rated centre-back Andreas Christensen will not be sold after impressing the likes of Bayern Munich and Barcelona whilst on loan at Borussia Monchengladbach.
The Daily Mail report that Chelsea have no intention to sell the Danish international, and plan to bring him into the first-team as soon as his two-year loan spell with Gladbach comes to an end.
Christensen was named as Gladbach’s player of the season during the first campaign of his two-year loan, sparking reports that the Bundesliga side were prepared to break their own transfer record to sign the defender.

However the 20-year-old, who is classed as a homegrown player after joining Chelsea in 2012, has three-years remaining on his current deal and the club are set to reject any offers that come in for him.
The ball-playing centre-halve has an average passing accuracy of 91 percent this season, and Conte will be looking to integrate him into the first team as quickly as possible, with the likes of John Terry and Branislav Ivanovic both entering the latter stages of their respective careers.
