Chelsea moved to the top of the Premier League table, outclassing Everton in a 5-0 win at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea dominated the first half and two goals in the space of 37 seconds gave Chelsea a well deserved 2-0 lead.
First Eden Hazard fired in his fourth goal in as many games, with 20 minutes played, before Marcos Alonso scored his first goal for the club – arrowing a shot through the legs of Everton goalkeeper Marten Stekelenburg.
Just before half-time Diego Costa once again regained his spot as the league’s top scorer, volleying home from a Nemanja Matic flick on – with the Serbian also recording his fifth assist of the season.
Hazard got his second of the night, latching onto a Pedro back heel before beating Everton’s hapless defence and shooting home. Pedro then capped an outstanding individual and team display when he tapped into an empty net with 65 minutes on the clock.
