Chelsea will look to retain their position at the top of the Premier League with a win against Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday evening, as Antonio Conte hunts for his seventh successive win in the Premier League.
Tottenham will, however, be hoping that they can catapult themselves back into the Champions League positions, as they look to keep hold of their 12 game unbeaten streak in the Premier League this season, with six wins and six draws.
Tottenham are yet to win against the Blues at Stamford Bridge during the Premier League era, following their late capitulation last season, which handed Leicester the title.
While Chelsea were able to rest up ahead of the fiery London derby, Tottenham had to endure another humiliating Champions League loss this time at the hands of Monaco.
Tottenham will be without key centre-back Toby Alderwiereld, who is still recovering from a knee injury. Ben Davies, an ankle injury and Erik Lamela, a hip injury will also be missing, whilst Danny Rose is serving a one-game suspension.
Chelsea, on the other hand, will be missing Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Mikel John Obi, who has also hinted at a January exit this week, and John Terry, who are all suffering from injuries. Willian may, however, return to the squad.
