Eager to sign another right-back in January, Juventus have made Branislav Ivanovic their top target in that regard, according to Calciomercato.
After Juventus’ public falling out with Stephan Lichtsteiner in the summer which sees him currently suspended by the club until the new year without making an appearance so far this term, the reigning Serie A champions are eager to sign a new right-back to replace him.
Manchester United’s Matteo Darmian and AC Milan’s Mattia De Sciglio have both been mentioned as possible recruits, but the Old lady would rather look at a deal for Ivanovic.

The reason? The reigning Serie A champions believe that the veteran Serbian defender will be a much cheaper option than everyone else on their shortlist including highly-rated Benfica star Victor Lindelof who will set Juventus back €30m.
What also gives the 32-year-old the edge is he is able to play both right-back and centre-back and is eligible to play in this season’s Champions League, not to mention the fact his contract is up at the end of the season and Chelsea are unlikely to offer him an extension.
Ivanovic has lost his place in the Chelsea team of late and is way down the pecking order which has raised questions about his future.
