Chelsea are in midweek action on Wednesday. The Blues travel up to Sunderland for a Premier League fixture against David Moyes’ side.
Following a 1-0 win over West Brom on Sunday, Antonio Conte’s side won their ninth consecutive league fixture.
Thanks to Diego Costa’s goal, the Blues kept hold of top spot in the Premier League and will hope to keep their lead at the top of the table with a with against a struggling Sunderland side.
Whereas, the home side are currently languishing at the bottom of the table. Despite a couple of wins in previous weeks, Sunderland remain in 20th place.
A 3-0 loss away to fellow strugglers Swansea kept the Black Cats in the relegation zone. Goals from Gylfi Sigurdsson and a Fernando Llorente double were enough to breeze past Sunderland.
