Chelsea moved six points clear at the top of the Premier League after beating Sunderland 1-0 on Wednesday night.
The win confirmed that Chelsea would be top of the table at Christmas after a first-half goal from Cesc Fabregas sealed all three points.
It was the club’s 10th successive win and despite a late push from Sunderland, the Blues held on at the Stadium of Light.
