Cesc Fabregas tipped for China move

Another Chelsea midfielder appears primed for a January move to the far east.

Following news that Oscar is set to make the move to the Chinese Super League with Shanghai SIPG, managed by former Blues boss Andre Villas-Boas, in a £52m deal and earn in the region of £400,000-a-week, Cesc Fabregas is also being touted for a move to China.

Scolari was interested in signing Oscar but appears to have lost out to SIPG in the race for the Brazilian but will happily settle for the former Barcelona and Arsenal midfielder.

The 29-year-old has been used a bit-part player by Antonio Conte this season making just 10 appearances in all competitions but that does include two starts in the last three Premier League games and scored the only goal in a 1-0 win over Sunderland midweek.

It’s believed that Chelsea would hold out for £40m to sell Fabregas in January but given the money being thrown about by Chinese Super League sides that doesn’t seem like a hard figure to match.
