Torino striker Andrea Belotti is reportedly being looked at by Antonio Conte as a replacement for Diego Costa, should the Spaniard leave in the summer. According to reports in the Express.
Costa seemed to play down a big-money move to China last weekend, with his celebration against Hull City – as he scored on his return to the squad.
Belotti has been in scintillating form for Torino this season, ranking among one of Serie A’s top scorers with 14 goals in just 18 appearances. His goal scoring prowess has not gone unnoticed by the Italian national team, who since being called up in September has scored three goals in five appearances.
Belotti has recently signed a new contract, however, which is said to have a £85 million release clause which only applies to teams outside of Italy, and Torino have recently turned down a £56 million bid from Arsenal.
PSG and Liverpool are also said to be interested in the Italian – although the Parisians have recently picked up Benfica youngster Goncalo Guedes, who operates as both a centre-forward and as a winger.
