With the January transfer window only just closing, some many be focusing on the here and now as Antonio Conte tries to win the Premier League at the first time of asking.
The Blues were linked with a whole host of names during the January transfer window, but the only business they did, in terms of incomings was recalling on-loan defender, Nathan Ake.
Chelsea did let go both Branislav Ivanovic and John Obi Mikel as well as Oscar as the Blues continue to cut down the size of their squad.
Patrick Bamford also left for Middlesbrough after failing to break through at Burnley. All of those departures mean that there is money in the bank to spend in the summer.
Should Chelsea go on and lift the Premier League, they’ll want to strengthen and learn from last season’s mistakes.
So we look ahead to the summer and identify what the Blues will need during the summer transfer window.
