Chelsea and Manchester City will both make world record bids for Juventus defender Leonardo Bonucci this summer, according to Ed Malyon from the Independent.
The 29-year-old was a target for both clubs in the summer and it seems like they’ll both try to get him again at the end of the season.
The Italian defender has apparently fallen out with Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri and there is every chance that he could leave.

However, if they do let him go, they’d demand the highest ever fee paid for a defender, so it remains to be seen if either City or Chelsea would be willing to pay such a massive amount for a player who is almost 30-years-old.
City paid £50m for John Stones in the summer, but they can justify that due to his age. Bonucci is clearly a better player than Stones and he’d be a great addition to Antonio Conte’s squad if a deal can be agreed.
