Chelsea return to Premier League action this weekend, having booked their place in the FA Cup quarter-finals, as they take on relegation strugglers Swansea City at Stamford Bridge.
Diego Costa was back on the scoresheet against Wolves, and his re-emergence should add to the league leaders buoyant mood. Costa also has a brilliant goal scoring record against Swansea, notching seven goals in his four prior games. Meanwhile, Nathan Ake impressed in a Man of the Match display on his birthday against the Championship side.
Gylfi Sigurdsson has scored eight goals and provided eight assists this season, which is more than any midfielder. Welsh centre-back Alfie Mawson is also the highest scoring Premier League defender in 2017 – with three goals already.
Despite Swansea sitting just four points above the drop, they have been reborn under former Chelsea assistant manager Paul Clement – winning four of their last six Premier League games, and are currently unbeaten in their previous three meetings with the Blues.
Thibaut Courtois looks set to start against Swansea, despite suffering from illness this week, while Marcos Alonso and David Luiz are also returning after being rested against Wolves.
Leon Britton could make his first appearance under Paul Clement, having overcome back and calf problems. New signings Luciano Narsingh and Jordan Ayew are also pushing for a start.
