Vitesse Arnhem are possibly the most well-known feeder club in the world at the moment, due to their relationship with Chelsea.
Established in 2010 after the Eredivisie side was taken over by Georgian businessman Merab Jordania, an associate of Roman Abramovich, the link between the clubs has seen no fewer than 20 players join Vitesse for a loan spell from Chelsea.
Another associate of Abramovich’s, Russian billionaire Alexander Chigirinsky, then took over as owner of Vitesse in 2013 and has since seen the side consistently competing in and around the European places in the Dutch league.
Vitesse are currently eighth in the Eredivisie, but just five points separates them from FC Utrecht in fourth, and the club are also in the final of the KNVB Beker thanks to two goals from Chelsea loanee Lewis Baker, who is currently enjoying an excellent season in Holland.
Things haven’t always gone to plan for some of the loanees who have had a season or two with Vitesse, however.
Read on to find out who has been loaned out to the Dutch feeder club since 2010, and where they are now.
