Chelsea are reportedly scouting Vancouver Whitecaps youngster Alphonso Davies, but are joined by their Premier League rivals in pursuit of the winger.
According to an exclusive report from Metro US, Davies is being scouted by the Blues as they look to add more talent to their already promising youth squads.
The young wide man has started off the MLS campaign in rather impressive fashion, showing lots of creativity in his side’s goalless draw with Philadelphia Union on Monday this week.
Despite being, quite staggeringly, only 16-years of age, Davies has represented his native Canada at Under-20 level and has always been a figure that is highly thought of out in the MLS.
At such an age, the fact that Davies is getting the attention of the Premier League’s elite teams says a lot about his quality and potential already, but he’ll now look to keep himself grounded enjoy a run in the team with Vancouver Whitecaps at senior level.
Chelsea are joined by Manchester United and Liverpool in their pursuit of Davies.
