Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has insisted that he is not focussed on getting revenge against Chelsea on Monday night.
The former Blues boss spoke to the BBC ahead of his side’s FA Cup quarter-final clash at Stamford Bridge, but stated that despite his bitter ending with Chelsea last season there is no bad blood.
I am not looking revenge, I’m not looking for anything wrong or bad. If you say something special, maybe special, one thing is to have Gary Staker in the tunnel before and after the match. A close super friend.
Mourinho has led United to sixth place on the Premier League table this season after a nightmare campaign with Chelsea previously. The Portuguese boss was sacked with the Blues sat abnormally low in 16th place.
Although United have been in good form as of late and most certainly have the quality to hurt Chelsea, Antonio Conte will fancy his side to see off their counterparts on Monday and progress to the semi-final.
Conte will be hoping to not only secure the Premier League, but also get his hands on some silverware in his debut season in English football.
