An N’Golo Kante strike secured Chelsea a place in the FA Cup semi-final where they will face  Mauricio Pochettino’s Tottenham Hotspur side.

Manchester United’s Ander Herrera was sent off for a double yellow in the 35th minute for two fouls on Chelsea winger Eden Hazard throughout the opening-half.

The Blues capitalised on Herrera’s dismissal in the 51st minute, with summer signing N’Golo Kante striking from 20-yards out to put the home side in-front.

Manchester United’s Marcus Rashford had a chance straight after Kante’s opening goal, with the young Englishmen’s shot comfortably saved by Courtois.

Chelsea ended the game in a nail biting way, but the Blues secured a trip back to Wembley were they play London rivals Tottenham in April.
