Chelsea have reportedly made their first move to sign AS Monaco striker Kylian Mbappe this summer.
According to a report from French news outlet RMC Sport, as cited by GFFN, the Blues have made contact with the youngster’s entourage with the possibility of bringing Mbappe to Stamford Bridge in mind.
The France international has been sublime this season, bursting onto the first-team scene for Monaco and establishing himself as one of Europe’s most promising young players.
Mbappe has netted five times in this season’s Champions League and has been instrumental in getting Monaco to the semi-finals of the competition.
The young Frenchman is set to be high in demand this summer given how well he has performed this season and if GFFN’s report on the striker is to be believed, Chelsea aren’t the only English side keen on bringing him over to the Premier League.
Manchester United and Manchester City have both been claimed to have enquired for Mbappe.
