Chelsea’s squad has had the benefit of not suffering from a lot of injuries this season, especially in the attacking areas, but Antonio Conte will look to add depth to his squad in the summer.
If Cesc Fabregas leaves in the summer which he’s touted to do, with AC Milan amongst those keenest, then Chelsea will need to bring in another forward-thinking midfielder and the Mirror say Chelsea want to sign Real Madrid star Isco.
The 25-year-old is in a well-documented standoff with Madrid over his playing time, or lack of it, starting just 16 La Liga games this season.
The former Malaga starlet’s contract expires at the end of next season and there have been many clubs reportedly interested in signing the Spaniard including Manchester City, Liverpool, Arsenal and Barcelona.
Willian is another who is being linked with a summer move, with Manchester United keen, and Isco’s arrival would give the Blues another strong option in the final third.
