Chelsea have reportedly instructed scouts to cast a keen eye over Lech Poznan striker Dawid Kownacki.
According to a report from the Daily Mail, the Blues are interested in seeing the young forward’s qualities as speculation builds surrounding his future out in Poland.
Kownacki has notched 11 goals in his breakthrough season so far and has helped Lech Poznan in their pursuit of yet another Polish top flight honour.
He has been likened to his compatriot Robert Lewandowski, who plies his trade out in Germany with Bayern Munich, for his clinical nature and Polish roots.
However, if Chelsea do like what they see and are keen to pursue a move for the Poland Under-21 international, they may be faced with some fellow Premier League competition.
The report states that Arsenal have also sent spies to oversee Kownacki’s progress, while Leicester City are also claimed to have taken an interest in him.
