Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata looks to be one of Europe’s hottest properties this summer with the Spanish striker linked to a number of top clubs.
Many, however, believe the Real Madrid striker will be making the move to Chelsea this summer, and the forward himself has thrown fire on the rumours by following a number of Chelsea players on Instagram.
In the modern age of the internet, social media is seen as a huge factor throughout the transfer windows so you never know how serious to take it.
In 24 appearances, 13 of which were starts, in La Liga, the 24-year-old has scored 15 goals, good for one every 84 minutes. With such an impressive return in limited action, many believe that Morata can become a full-fledged star, given the opportunity.
With Diego Costa’s future in the air, and suggestions that a move to the Chinese Super League could be on the cards this summer, Morata will continue to be linked to Chelsea and his social media activity suggests that there may be some validity to the rumours.
