Chelsea host Watford on Monday night having already secured their fifth Premier League title, following their 1-0 win over West Brom on Friday.
Michy Batshuayi’s late goal helped Chelsea clinch the Premier League with two games to spare, with Watford and Sunderland left to play, both games at Stamford Bridge.
Batshuayi’s only other Premier League goal came against Watford. The Belgian was on the scoresheet in the reverse fixture in August, as Chelsea were 2-1 winners at Vicarage Road. Batshuayi had equalised for Chelsea, following Etienne Capoue’s earlier effort. Chelsea secured the three points through a late Diego Costa winner.
Watford currently sit in 16th place in the Premier League, with relegation no longer a threat for the Hornets, following Hull’s defeat and subsequent relegation. They played on Friday, like Chelsea, losing away to Everton.
Ahead of Monday’s fixture, we take a look at Watford and see what threats Walter Mazzarri’s side could pose to the new Premier League champions.
