Chelsea are reportedly willing to listen to offers from Manchester United regarding a potential move for Willian.
According to a report from the Independent today, the Blues could be prepared to let go of the Brazilian international when the summer transfer window opens and with United seemingly waiting in the wings, a move could be seriously plausible.
Pedro and Eden Hazard have both taken up the wide attacking roles in the team predominantly since the switch to the 3-4-3 formation, and Willian will undoubtedly be looking for assurances over first-team football wherever he is next season.
However, he’s still produced the goods when he has been called upon and if he does become available this summer, he certainly won’t be short of potential suitors.
Jose Mourinho is a keen admirer of the Chelsea winger from his tenure at Stamford Bridge so the reported interest comes as no surprise.
United could be looking to bolster their attacking options ahead of next season and Willian would certainly provide some quality.
