Atletico Madrid have requested that the representatives of Diego Costa keep them informed about his intentions this summer, according to The Telegraph..
Chinese side Tianjin Quanjian are confident that they can lure the Spaniard to China, however, Atletico Madrid are also interested in re-signing Costa and should he turn down a move to China, the Los Rojiblancos will probably bid for him.
The Chinese Super League club are willing to pay £76million to sign Costa, while offering the striker a £25million-a-year salary.
These figures blow all other competition out of the water as Atletico and other European clubs are not willing to pay such high figures for Costa.
Costa scored 25 goals for club and country and played a vital role in Chelsea being crowned Premier League Champions.
Diego Simeone confirmed that he will remain in charge of Atletico and he is trying to use his close personal relationship with Costa to secure his services.

Atletico believe that Costa would prefer a move to Europe rather than to China, with friends reporting that the forward is interested in a move back to Spain.
Tianjin Quanjian believe that they have a verbal agreement in place with Costa but the striker has not confirmed any of these reports.
Atletico are slightly holding back on the move because the future of French forward Antoine Griezmann at the club isn’t confirmed. Should Griezmann leave, it could open the door for Atletico to sign Costa.
