Chelsea and Manchester United are reportedly keen to land Federico Bernadeschi from Fiorentina this summer.
Bernadeschi has had a breakthrough season out in Italy, contributing to 19 goals in all competitions at just 23-years-old. After a stellar campaign, the club’s board have opened talks over a new deal for the Italian – which have reportedly stalled.
Italian transfer expert Alfredo Pedulla claims that the player is sought after by two English clubs – one of them being Chelsea.
However, United are also touted with interest and are keen to land the Italian, who is reportedly valued at £30m.
Chelsea, however, may have the advantage – with current boss Antonio Conte a familiar figure for the player – the man who handed him an international debut.
The Azzuri international has reportedly rejected a £2 million-a-year deal from Fiorentina amid interest from elsewhere.
It’s no doubt that the two English clubs can offer him a lucrative contract with a larger pay cheque than his current side.
