Chelsea’s outgoing assistant manager Steve Holland says he expects head coach Antonio Conte to remain at the club following interest from Italian giants Inter Milan, according to a report on Goal.
The Italian head coach has been reported to be a target of a few clubs in his homeland – especially Inter, after just one season at Chelsea.
He has enjoyed a successful first year at the club after being crowned Premier League Champions and FA Cup runners-up.

With the Blues preparing for their return to the Champions League, Holland is confident that the animated coach will stay to try to put together a successful challenge against Europe’s best teams.
Holland told TalkSPORT: “The speculation is normal when a manager has had the success that Antonio has had.
“When you think back to the success he had at Juventus and the great job he did with Italy in the last European Championship and add to that the success he has had in his first season in England, it is normal that there will be attention.”

Conte will be looking to successfully defend Chelsea’s Premier League title next season and is already looking for more firepower up front, with the London club linked with Everton forward Romelu Lukaku and Real Madrid’s Spanish forward Alvaro Morata.
Conte will be slightly disappointed that his side missed out on a domestic double as they were narrowly defeated by a spirited Arsenal side.
