According to an exclusive from reliable Italian journalist Gianluca di Marzio, Chelsea target Alvaro Morata has agreed terms ahead of a proposed move to AC Milan.
The Premier League champions were lucky that injuries did not affect their attacking options last season but with European football to deal with next term, they’ve been on the search for a new out-and-out striker.

Alvaro Morata, who Blues manager Antonio Conte reportedly rates highly, was seen as one of their prime targets to bring to Stamford Bridge this summer. However, it has now been claimed that AC Milan, under new ownership, have offered the Spaniard around £7 million per year on a five-year deal, with Real Madrid set to take a fee of €60 million.
It was claimed that the 24-year-old goalscorer had ‘his heart set on working with Conte,’ but Chelsea obviously believed that Morata was not worth any more than Milan’s offer.
