Chelsea striker Diego Costa has not made a decision on where he will play next season, ESPN report, although his brother Jair says he has “lots of offers”.
Costa, 28, looks extremely likely to leave Stamford Bridge this summer even though he has two years left on his current deal after Antonio Conte told him via text message that he wasn’t in his plans.
Atletico Madrid are one of the clubs rumoured to be in for the Spanish striker and a return to his former club would attract Costa.
Jair said: “He has great affection for Atletico but right now, there is nothing concrete, we have to wait and see what happens.”
However, Atletico will not be able to register new players until January 2018 after they have served a transfer ban for breaching FIFA. They can still make signings and loan them elsewhere until then.
There are rumours Costa would head to Brazilian side Palmeiras on loan for six months before re-signing to Atletico in January.
