Antonio Conte’s first season in charge of Chelsea was a huge success but he is considering walking away from the club after just one season, according to a report from Sky Sports Italia’s Gianluca Di Marzio.
Conte is apparently unhappy at the club’s directors as no deals have been done for the players he wanted to sign and as such, he’s prepared to leave after just one season.
The Italian manager reportedly gave the Chelsea recruitment team a list of specific players who he wanted to bring into the squad in order to make it strong enough to compete for the league once again whilst also making a push to win the Champions League.
As it stands, these players have not been signed and Conte apparently isn’t holding out hope that they will be Cheslea players in the future.
This wouldn’t be the first time Conte has unexpectedly left a club over the summer as he once left Juventus just two days after the players had come back in for pre-season training.
