Chelsea have reportedly identified Luis Enrique as a potential candidate to take over the managerial post if Antonio Conte does move on.
Speculation has been mounting out of the blue regarding Conte’s future at Stamford Bridge, with reports claiming that he’s unhappy with the amount, or lack, of signings being made by the club this summer.
However, although it’s not totally expected that he will depart in the near future, the Telegraph are reporting that Enrique has been lined up in case the worst happens.

The Spaniard’s contract with Barcelona expired at the end of last season, seeing him replaced by Ernesto Valverde, and therefore he is currently without a job.
Conte’s first season with Chelsea was pretty outstanding and he’s certainly made a lasting impact on the Blues’ faithful, so the priority is sure to be keeping hold of him.
However, it does appear that the board have planned for all scenarios, which can only be positive in terms of preparation.
