Chelsea defender Kurt Zouma wanted by Nice and Lyon

Chelsea defender Kurt Zouma is attracting interest from Ligue 1 sides Lyon and Nice, according to talkSPORT.

Zouma looks likely to leave Stamford Bridge this summer, either on loan or on a permanent basis, following a lengthy injury lay-off last season.

Both Nice and Lyon are said to be closely following the 22-year-old’s situation at Stamford Bridge.

Nice would appear to be favourites to sign the Chelsea centre-back after they finished third in Ligue 1 last season, securing Champions League football for the upcoming campaign.

Lyon have also been heavily linked with a bid for out-of-favour Chelsea forward Bertrand Troare.

Zouma signed a five-and-a-half year contract for Chelsea in 2014 when he signed from Saint-Etienne.

The defender, who has been capped twice at international level for France, is hoping to gain some regular first-team football next season as he looks to boost his chances of playing in next summer’s World Cup.
