Diego Costa holding up Romelu Lukaku’s return to Chelsea

In an article by The Mirror, it has been reported that Romelu Lukaku’s move back to Chelsea is being held up by Diego Costa refusing to transfer to the Chinese Super League.

Reports have come out recently that Costa is not in Conte’s plans for the 2017/18 season and Costa wants a move to Atletico.

Costa is adamant about being forced out by the Chelsea boss and will only move away from Chelsea for a move back to Atletico Madrid as he doesn’t want a move to the Chinese Super League as he doesn’t think the Far East would suit him.

Diego Costa is taking satisfaction by making Lukaku’s move to Chelsea complicated as he is annoyed with Conte by telling the Spanish striker he is not in his plans over text at the end of the season.

Costa has helped Chelsea win two league titles since joining in 2014 and has scored a lot of goals on the way, however, he is now unsettled in London and he wants a move back to his hometown Madrid with Atletico, the club he left for Chelsea.
