Belgian striker Romelu Lukaku is once again dominating the headlines and this time it seems he is off to Man United, but according to Darren Lewis, the race is far from over.
Reports everywhere this morning suggest that the Everton striker way heading to Old Trafford in a deal believed to be around £75 million.
Chelsea had been believed to have won the race for the Belgian striker all summer long but it appears he might have been stolen from under their noses.
However, Chelsea fans can still pray because Lewis says that “The race is not over.” and that Chelsea are “still very much in the race.”
Lukaku bagged 26 goals in all competitions last season for Everton and that meant he was subject to be wanted by a lot of clubs over the summer, now the front-runners for the 24-year-old are his former club Chelsea and Manchester United.

It appears that head coach Antonio Conte was desperate to bring Lukaku back to Stamford Bridge amid rumours that Diego Costa is eyeing a return to his former club Atletico Madrid.
Time will soon tell if the Premier League champions can still get their man and they are certainly still in the race to do so.
