Chelsea striker Batshuayi ‘likely’ to leave

Chelsea striker Michy Batshuayi is reportedly likely to leave this summer on loan, with multiple teams showing interest in the striker, according to the Telegraph.

It is believed that if Chelsea can bring in a few attacking options, then manager Antonio Conte will allow the Belgian to leave on a season-long loan to gain more first-team football.

A source close to Turkish giants Fenerbahce claim that they have made an enquiry for the forward and are keen on signing the forward on a loan deal, along with fellow London side West Ham United. However, Hammers boss Slaven Bilic is now thought to be in for Bayern Leverkusen striker Javier Hernandez, leaving Fenerbahce as the favourites for Batshuayi.

Batshuayi, 22, joined Stamford Bridge last summer for a fee in the region of £33 million, however, he has struggled for game time during the previous campaign, playing just 235 minutes of Premier League football all season, which included netting the title-winning goal at West Brom.
