Tiemoue Bakayoko and Antonio Rudiger are set to undergo medicals in the coming days as Chelsea close in on two new signings.
According to the Telegraph, Chelsea expected to complete both deals by next week as they look to end their woes in the transfer market.
The Premier League champions’ only signing to date has been Willy Cabellero on a free transfer from Manchester City, to play back-up to number one Thibaut Courtois.
However, the Blues now look set to clinch a double deal and land both Bakayoko and Rudiger.

The pair have been heavily linked with their respective moves to Stamford Bridge this summer – with announcements expected very soon.
Both are due to complete their medicals over the weekend before being officially unveiled as Chelsea players.
Antonio Conte is said to have been growing frustrated at the lack of progress in the transfer market, with these deals softening his frustration.
