The Blues are preparing a £52m deal to bring Real Madrid man James Rodriguez to Stamford Bridge.
According to Don Balon, the 25-year-old is wanting out of Madrid and Chelsea could be the perfect move for the attacking-midfielder.

The man who scored the goal of the tournament in the 2014 World Cup bagged a move to Los Blanco’s straight after for fee believed to be around £60m.
Although he isn’t wanted at Madrid, he still managed 11 goals and 13 assists last season being used in a rotational role, and with Antonio Conte said to be angry with the lack of transfers at Chelsea, Rodriguez could be the perfect statement signing for Chelsea to aim for back-to-back Premier League titles.
The Columbian currently has three years left on his contract but is yet to leave the club this summer with French giants PSG and Chelsea rivals Man United also interested in the playmaker.
However, Chelsea may have to fight to get their man because reportedly the 25-year-old is eyeing a move to Europa League winners Man United instead.
Either way, Rodriguez would be a great signing for any team and to see him in the Premier League would be a sign of intent from the team that manages to secure his signature.
