Chelsea have offered midfielder Nathaniel Chalobah a new five-year contract in an attempt to keep him at the club.
According to The Mirror, Antonio Conte rates Chalobah very highly and is desperate to see him stay at the club.
This comes after reports that Chalobah wants to leave Chelsea to find more regular game time.
Chalobah made just one Premier League start last season, with a further nine appearances off the bench. That was enough to secure him a Premier League medal.

However, Chalobah wants to further his development and Premier League clubs Watford and Southampton are said to be battling it out to sign him.
The midfielder has one year left on his current deal but Chelsea have offered him a four-year extension on that, with a £20k boost in his wages.
The 22-year-old currently earns £45k-a-week at Chelsea.
The report also claims that Conte has offered Chalobah more regular game time if he commits his future to the Blues.
