Antonio Conte is ready to send Kurt Zouma on loan so he can offer Andreas Christensen an opportunity in the first team at Stamford Bridge, according to a report in the Evening Standard.
The defender has returned from a two year loan spell at German club Borussia Monchengladbach and Conte is ready to integrate him into the first team squad.
The Danish international has only made three senior appearances for the London club but Conte wants to give him his chance to prove himself in the Premier League.
During his loan spell in the Bundesliga, Christensen was showered with praise for his performances and it seems that Conte has also been impressed with what the defender has achieved during his time on loan.
The 21-year-old defender has a contract with the Blues until 2020 and will be hoping to force himself into Conte’s plans for the upcoming season where the Blues will attempt to retain their Premier league crown as well as challenge against Europe’s finest teams in the UEFA Champions League.
The defender is also a threat from set-pieces as he managed to get his name on the scoresheet four times in all competitions for club and country.
