It was reported earlier today that Watford were confident of securing a deal for midfielder Nathaniel Chalobah this summer, which now looks to be the case.
This is despite Chelsea offering the midfielder a lucrative five-year contract to keep him at the club.
Antonio Conte is said to be a fan of Chalobah and was willing to offer him more game-time in an attempt to make him sign a new deal.

That will not happen. He looks set to reject a new deal at Chelsea in order to complete a move away.
Chalobah has one year left on his contract and Watford could seal the deal for a fee in the region of £5m.
The Englishman will sign a five-year deal with Watford.
Chelsea were willing to give Chalobah £65k-per-week on a new deal but the Englishman is adamant that he wants regular minutes next season.
