Nemanja Matic has informed Chelsea that he wishes to leave the club this summer, according to the Guardian.
Antonio Conte is set to bring in Tiemoue Bakayoko from Monaco who will likely take Matic’s place in the starting line-up, forcing the Serbian to reassess his future at the club.
Amid interest from Manchester United, Inter Milan and Juventus, Matic is due to speak with the London club’s director Marina Granovskaia regarding a deal which will see him leave the club this summer.
Chelsea are open to letting the £40m-rated midfielder leave the club with Bakayoko coming in, but they’re resisting an approach from Manchester United after they pipped them to the signing of Romelu Lukaku from Everton earlier this summer.
New contract talks between Matic and Chelsea stalled earlier in the summer and the player would prefer to reunite with Jose Mourinho at Old Trafford, but Chelsea have no plans to let him join a Premier League rival.

The Blues have omitted Matic from their pre-season tour of the Far East as he looks to complete a move away.
Juventus defender Alex Sandro is a top target for Chelsea, and given that the Serie A champions are keen on bringing Matic to Italy, the topic of the former Benfica man’s future is expected to come up during negotiations.
Matic has won two Premier League titles following his return to the club in January 2014 but his second spell at the club is clearly coming to an end.
Whether it’s Manchester United, Inter Milan or Juventus that signs Matic, we’ve surely seen the last of the 28-year-old in a Chelsea shirt.
