Chelsea’s latest signing Tiemoue Bakayoko will wear his favoured number 14 shirt at Stamford Bridge.
Frenchman Bakayoko becomes the third addition to Antonio Conte’s squad this summer, with Antonio Rudiger and Willy Caballero already signed from Roma and Man City respectively.
Bakayoko joins the Blues from French champions AS Monaco, for a reported fee of around £40 million. The midfielder has signed a five-year deal at the club, keeping him in London until at least 2022.
He started his career at Rennes, featuring 24 times for the side in Ligue 1 before making the move to Monaco in 2014.
The midfielder would spend the next three seasons at the Stade Louis II, making 63 league appearances, and scoring three goals during his spell at the club.
Following Bakayoko’s signing and the announcement that he will be wearing the number 14 shirt at Chelsea, we take a look back at the last five players who have worn that number and see how they fared at Chelsea.
